Labour Market Researcher

Our team works across private and public sector organizations in various industries, with projects that start with thorough research. We go beyond facts and figures to interpret results and guide our clients toward informed decisions.
The Role
We’re looking for curious, personable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Researchers on our Labour Market Information Program. In this role, you’ll gather insights about hiring practices, job requirements, and industry trends to build a clearer picture of today’s labour market.

What You'll Do
  • Researching & Identifying Employers: Use job search tools to find companies hiring for specific roles. Rest assured you don’t need any prior experience. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing resources, and continuous support to ensure your success in the role.
  • Engaging with Employers: Call businesses to speak with hiring managers, gathering insights about hiring requirements, job duties, and qualifications.
  • Documenting & Analyzing: Record responses in our research database with precision and clarity.
  • Asking the Right Questions: Use open-ended and follow-up questions to collect meaningful insights.
  • Maintaining Quality & Confidentiality: Ensure data accuracy and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
  • Helping Improve Our Processes: Provide feedback to make our research even more effective.

  • Are organized and pay close attention to detail.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills (professional phone presence required).
  • Can summarize information clearly in well-structured sentences.
  • Are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Can adapt quickly to changing project needs.
Bonus if you have:
  • Experience in telephone interviewing.

Where & When You’ll Work
Work remotely 20-30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling between 9 AM – 5:30 PM.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities

Hourly pay starts at $19 during the training and assessment period (varies but is typically 40-60 hours). After passing the assessment period, pay increases to $21 per hour. There’s potential for higher pay if you take on different and/or additional managerial responsibilities.
