Employee & Workplace Insights

We help clients enhance employee engagement, create inclusive workplace cultures, and build resilient organizations.

Sentis’ Employee Engagement Model

To become an Employer of Choice, an organization must create a supportive and motivating culture that connects employees with a common vision.

Our engagement model helps you do that by identifying the factors that drive engagement across 8 pillars: culture & fit, growth & development, compensation & benefits, communications, leadership & direction, management effectiveness, role and responsibilities and treatment & fairness.

Employee Segmentation

We can segment your workforce so that you can tailor your training, incentive and HR management systems to different employees.

Linking Customer Experience with Employee Engagement

Engaged employees are vital to your customer experience strategy. We link VOE (Voice of the Employee) with VOC (Voice of the Customer) to explain what’s going on at each of your locations and departments.

National Workforce Study & Benchmarks

We keep tabs on how Canadians feel about their jobs and workplaces with the Sentis National Workforce Study.

We independently survey a random cross section of Canadians workers, unlike other ‘benchmarks’ which are the average scores of companies the agency happens to work with.

This approach lets us confidently identify trends in the labour market across 40 benchmark metrics and helps our clients understand how they stack up against other companies in their sector (e.g. financial services, public sector, etc.).

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The terms diversity, equity and inclusion are used everywhere, but what do they mean in the context of market research? What do we need to do or build into our research approaches and practices to ensure we are bringing these important concepts into the mix?

The concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion have been around for awhile, but recently researchers have been feeling a more determined push from clients to bring these into the research mix. The challenge is that research (especially quantitative research) can often be very categorical in nature and the concepts of diversity and inclusion are not. In fact, just the act of categorizing research respondents seems to fly in the face of being inclusive.

Culture Audits

We conduct culture audits to assess your organization’s implicit cultural norms and mindset, identify how these shape staff performance, and show you what you can do to create a more inclusive, resilient organization.
