Hansoo has always been drawn to solving challenging problems. In pursuit of this passion, he completed a Bachelor of Computer Science at Simon Fraser University (SFU). After two co-ops in Software Developer roles at a credit union and a tech company, he grew curious about the business side of his work. He decided to minor in business and pursue a career in which he could help solve practical business problems.
Hansoo started that career by working as a Data Analyst for an industrial asset imaging company. There, he learned to transform large datasets of ultrasound images into actionable reports, and further honed his project management and analytical skills.
As an Assistant Research Manager at Sentis, Hansoo applies his unique blend of software development, data analysis, and project management skills to support projects at every stage – from programming, to sampling, to statistical analysis and reporting.
Hansoo has been playing ultimate frisbee since high school and takes full advantage of the Whistler slopes in the winter. When not playing sports, he’s either watching them or playing board games with friends.
