Originally from California, Emma moved to Richmond, British Columbia at a young age and has called it home ever since. Driven by her strong entrepreneurial spirit, Emma started her own online clothing business, gaining valuable experience in strategy and marketing. This inspired her to earn her BCom from the University of British Columbia (UBC), specializing in Marketing with a focus on Sustainability and Social Impact.
Emma has developed a diverse professional background, with experience ranging from social media management for a venture capital company to market research roles in the banking and telecommunications industries. These roles have honed her ability to blend innovative thinking with practical, data-driven solutions.
Emma is focussed on making sure her work makes a difference. She strives to deliver results that help organizations address challenges and improve outcomes. She’s also passionate about promoting sustainability, inclusivity and equality.
Currently an Assistant Research Manager at Sentis, Emma plays a key role in managing research projects from inception to completion, refining her expertise in project management, data analysis, and insights generation.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Emma is an avid traveler, having visited over 11 countries in the past year alone. She enjoys exploring new cultures and gaining a broader perspective on the world. In her downtime, you’ll likely find Emma staying active in group fitness classes, walking her dog, or playing volleyball with friends.
