Born and raised in Delhi in a business family, Navit has always been curious about how data and operations shape the way businesses run. That curiosity led her to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce at the UBC Sauder School of Business, where she specialized in Operations & Logistics with a concentration in Business Analytics, and was awarded the Outstanding International Student Award.
At Sauder, Navit began to develop her data analysis skills by conducting sentiment analysis on social media data, evaluating the accuracy of models designed to predict real-world events, and presenting results in a way that could be easily grasped by a non-technical audience. These experiences further sparked her interest in turning complex data into useful insights.
Navit has had the opportunity to gain experience in research and business operations in both Canada and India. As a Creative Operations Analyst at a Toronto-based Ed-tech startup, she conducted user-focused research to improve engagement with online education platforms. As an Operations Management Intern at a New Delhi OEM electronics manufacturing company, she conducted assessments of vendor compliance with KPIs and analyzed internal data to identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
At Sentis, Navit brings together her background in analytics and operations to support projects at every stage of the project lifecycle including survey programming and testing, data and sentiment analysis, and report development.
